League had the exact same problem where dragon used to only give +gold and +xp. Like give us a passive to change the tempo. Introducing multiple capture the zone maybe or some more objectives with better advantages. League had that problem with runes and changed it for a really good system. Making the mastery/runes thingy they had more simplistic and clear differences.

League has different dragons that give different buffs and can change the whole map. Like in league apart from the 200 ish champions. They tried to introduce variety but idk I feel like it they could have done more. But it quickly felt repetitive and the same. Like yes playing just a little bit it felt really fun. What do you think the game lacked?ДЇor me variety was a big factor.
